1. What does breakfast include? What time is it served?

Our continental breakfast, served from 7 am to 10.30 am, includes:

  • Fruit juice
  • A hot drink
  • Bread, butter, and delicious spreads such as jam and honey
  • A croissant
  • Fresh fruit

You can add it to your online booking or book it directly on site for the following morning (+€1).

2. Is it possible to hire bikes? If so, how much does it cost?

We have 20 hybrid bikes for hire on site from 7 am to midnight. The rate is €12/day.

3. How do I get to the nearest station? What are the bus times?

To get to Bayonne train station, take the bus line 7 from the Tourist Office, which is a 15-minute walk from JO&JOE. The ticket costs €2 and can be purchased directly on the bus. It will take you 50 minutes to get to Bayonne train station.
To get to Saint-Vincent de Tyrosse station, the A1a or A1b bus departs from the Tourist Office every day except Sundays. Find the full timetable here: https://www.rdtl.fr/index.php?niveau_id=97&niveau=2

4. Is there a kitchen area?

The Chill & snack corner has a worktop, 2 mini fridges and a microwave. You can cook simple meals whilst meeting fellow backpackers staying at JO&JOE.

5. Are linen and towels provided in every room?

Bed linen is provided in every room; towels, however, are only provided in private rooms.
If you are planning on booking a bed in a dormitory, you can rent a towel for €3 at reception.

6. Are surfing lessons available?

Yes! We have a partnership with the Hossegor Surf Club, which is located on La Centrale beach, just a 15-minute walk from JO&JOE. To benefit from the preferential rate we offer, call the front desk directly to book your lesson.
If you are an experienced surfer and only require equipment, it is available to hire. Get 20% off all Hossegor Surf Club equipment upon presentation of your booking at JO&JOE.

7. At what time do the common areas close?

The bar/restaurant and the Chill & snack corner close at midnight in order to allow everyone a good night’s sleep. After this time, you can continue partying elsewhere and return at the time you wish. There is no curfew. Your room card can be used to open the entrance gate at night.

8. What time can we arrive?

Check-in is from 3 pm. Lockers are available in the reception area for your belongings should you arrive a little earlier. You can check in until midnight. If you think you will arrive after midnight, please call to inform reception beforehand.

9. What time is check-out?

The room must be vacated at 11 am at the latest. You can, of course, leave your luggage at reception while you go and enjoy Hossegor for a few more hours.

10. Are you open all year round?

No, the JO&JOE Hossegor will be closed from November to March to get a makeover! 😉

11. How many rooms does JO&JOE Hossegor have?

24 rooms, divided into simple, double, triple, quadruple, for 5 or 6 persons, dormitories of 10, 12 and 14, for a total of 135 beds.
