We are proud to have Kauli Vaast in the JO&JOE Family since 2017.

Kauli Vaast started surfing at the age of 4 on the beach-breaks of Tahiti. He is a three-time European junior surfing champion (2017, 2019 & 2020) and has 6 wins on the international junior circuit.

In 2018, Kauli joined the WSL’s WQS professional circuit and competed in 2019 at the Tahiti Pro Teahupo’o for his first appearance in the world’s surfing elite.

In October 2021, he won the French Open in Hossegor, a victory duly celebrated at the JO&JOE Hossegor.

In addition to competitions, Kauli Vaast practices free surfing, delivering impressive performances especially on his home spot of Teahupo’o.
