Hossegor

1. What does breakfast include? What time is it served?

Our continental breakfast, served from 7 am to 10.30 am, includes:

  • Fruit juice
  • A hot drink
  • Bread, butter, and delicious spreads such as jam and honey
  • A croissant
  • Fresh fruit

You can add it to your online booking or book it directly on site for the following morning (+€1).

2. Is it possible to hire bikes? If so, how much does it cost?

We have 20 hybrid bikes for hire on site from 7 am to midnight. The rate is €10/day.

3. How do I get to the nearest station? What are the bus times?

To get to Bayonne train station, take the bus line 7 from the Tourist Office, which is a 15-minute walk from JO&JOE. The ticket costs €2 and can be purchased directly on the bus. It will take you 50 minutes to get to Bayonne train station.
To get to Saint-Vincent de Tyrosse station, the A1a or A1b bus departs from the Tourist Office every day except Sundays. Find the full timetable here: https://www.rdtl.fr/index.php?niveau_id=97&niveau=2

4. Is there a kitchen area?

The Happy House has a worktop, 2 mini fridges and a microwave. You can cook simple meals whilst meeting fellow backpackers staying at JO&JOE.

5. Are linen and towels provided in every room?

Bed linen is provided in every room; towels, however, are only provided in private rooms.
If you are planning on booking a bed in a dormitory, you can rent a towel for €3 at reception.

6. Are surfing lessons available?

Yes! We have a partnership with the Hossegor Surf Club, which is located on La Centrale beach, just a 15-minute walk from JO&JOE. To benefit from the preferential rate we offer, call the front desk directly to book your lesson.
If you are an experienced surfer and only require equipment, it is available to hire. Get 20% off all Hossegor Surf Club equipment upon presentation of your booking at JO&JOE.

7. At what time do the common areas close?

The bar/restaurant and the Happy House close at midnight in order to allow everyone a good night’s sleep. After this time, you can continue partying elsewhere and return at the time you wish. There is no curfew. Your room card can be used to open the entrance gate at night.

8. What time can we arrive?

Check-in is from 3 pm. Lockers are available in the reception area for your belongings should you arrive a little earlier. You can check in until midnight. If you think you will arrive after midnight, please call to inform reception beforehand.

9. What time is check-out?

The room must be vacated at 11 am at the latest. You can, of course, leave your luggage at reception while you go and enjoy Hossegor for a few more hours.

10. Are you open all year round?

No, the JO&JOE Hossegor will be closed from November to March to get a makeover! 😉

 

Paris Gentilly

1. What does breakfast include?

Our breakfast buffet offers hot drinks, cold drinks, pastries, bread, butter, jam and spreads. Everything is at your disposal and served with a smile 🙂

2. How do I get to the nearest station?

Turn right when you leave the hotel, and it is literally 150 m away.
If you do not want to pay for zone 2 transport, just cross the bridge towards the university campus, then take the RER B from Cité Universitaire station.

3. What time is check-in?

Check-in is at 3 pm. You can of course arrive earlier and place your belongings in one of our secure lockers behind reception for a small fee.

4. What time is check-out?

The room must be vacated by 10 am. We offer the option to leave at 1 pm for an additional €10 (subject to availability).
You can also leave your belongings in one of our secure lockers behind reception for a small fee so you can go and enjoy Paris for a few more hours.

5. What’s the cabin?

It is a private 5 m² space which you can lock. It features a 160 cm wide bed (for one person only) and a small storage space for your luggage. Communal showers and toilets are on the landing.

6. Restaurant/bar/breakfast times

The restaurant is open from 12 noon to 3 pm, 6 pm to 9 pm and 7 am to 10 am.

7. Do you have a car park? How much does it cost?

Yes, it is €15 per 24 hours.

8. Do you have a meeting room? What is the maximum capacity? How much does it cost?

Paris Nation

1. What does breakfast include? What time is it served?

Our continental breakfast, served from 7 am to 10.30 am, includes:

  • Something savoury (cheese/ham)
  • Miniature pastry
  • Fresh fruit
  • Cake home-made with love

You can plan it in while booking or ask directly on-site during check-in. Please note: There is a one-euro charge if you go for it on the same day.

2. Is there a kitchen area?

“The Happy House has a work surface, a large fridge, a microwave and a vending machine with drinks, sandwiches, pasta boxes and more. You can whip up a quick snack whilst meeting fellow backpackers staying at JO&JOE.
Please note: During the health crisis, the availability of the Happy House and its equipment is subject to change. Please do not hesitate to inquire when you make your reservation.”

3. Are linen and towels provided in every room?

Bed linen is provided in every room; towels, however, are only provided in private rooms.
Towels are available for hire at the reception for guests staying in the dormitories.

4. How do I get to the nearest metro station?

Turn right when leaving the hotel and walk straight ahead for 50 metres. You will arrive at line 9. From there you can easily reach all of Paris including all the railway stations.

5. Opening hours of the kitchen

Our kitchen is open from 7 am to 11 pm.

6. Do you have a meeting room?

7. At what time do the common areas close?

“To let everyone get a good night’s sleep, the bar and the restaurant close at midnight from Sunday to Wednesday and at 2 am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. After this time, you can continue partying elsewhere and return at the time you wish. There is no curfew.
In the spirit of neighbourliness, Le Rooftop closes at 10 pm after which time you can enjoy the rest of your evening in the bar and restaurant.”
Happy House is restricted to guests staying at JO and closes at midnight every day. Please note: During the health crisis, the opening hours of common and public areas are subject to change.

Check-out time for your room is 10 am at the latest. Of course, you may leave your luggage in one of our secure lockers for an extra charge and enjoy Paris for a few more hours. Late check-out until 1 pm is possible for an extra charge of ten euros(subject to availability)
